Draft for operator review
Updated 21 October 2026. These draft terms describe the platform and proposed service conditions. They have not been published as an accepted contract version. Commercial signup and checkout remain unavailable until the operator completes and approves the full policy information.
1. Operator and scope
OwnServa is operated by Ownserva LTD, Kenya, postal address 720-01000, Thika, Kenya. Contact [email protected] for service questions and [email protected] for personal-data matters. The platform provides account and workspace management and tools for managing infrastructure you are authorized to control. It does not include server hardware, internet connectivity, domain ownership or third-party services unless a separate offer expressly includes them.
2. Accounts and authority
Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and recovery codes, and use only accounts and infrastructure you are authorized to manage. You must have legal capacity to enter the applicable agreement. A person acting for an organization must have its authority. Workspace owners are responsible for assigning appropriate member permissions and removing access when it is no longer needed. Report suspected compromise promptly through the support contact.
3. Customer infrastructure and content
You retain your rights in your content. You authorize the operations you request, such as installing the agent, deploying applications, changing DNS or creating backups. You are responsible for your hardware, operating-system maintenance, network access, application configuration, content permissions and software or model licences. Running the agent, granting Docker access and publishing a route have security consequences; review the requested permissions before enabling them. Private repositories, secrets and personal data must be shared only where necessary for the requested operation.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful content or activity, unauthorized access, malware distribution, credential theft, unsolicited abusive traffic, or infringement of others' rights. Do not bypass access controls, misuse another workspace's resources or interfere with the platform or its providers. Security testing requires authorization for the systems being tested. Report abuse with the affected service or hostname and sufficient supporting details to support an investigation; do not send passwords or access tokens.
5. Availability, maintenance and backups
Available features depend on the services and infrastructure configured for your installation. A feature shown in navigation is not a promise that an external provider, gateway, GPU or backup destination is available. No particular uptime, recovery time or backup retention period is promised by this draft. Maintain appropriate independent backups and test recovery. A backup job must report success before you rely on it; restoring to an isolated recovery volume does not automatically replace a running application.
6. Prices, orders and recurring payments
Only a separately presented and accepted order can create a payment obligation. Before payment, the offer must identify the plan or service, currency, total price and applicable tax treatment, billing interval and cancellation conditions. Recurring billing requires a separate affirmative choice. Domain purchases are separate from platform subscriptions and require their own order. Displayed plan defaults or disabled payment buttons do not themselves create a subscription. Provider confirmation is required before a payment is treated as verified.
7. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds
Use Billing & Subscriptions in the dashboard to stop future subscription renewal, and check the resulting status. If that control is unavailable, contact support with the subscription or order reference. Stopping renewal is separate from requesting withdrawal or a refund. Consumers can submit a contract-withdrawal request through the public withdrawal form without signing in or giving a reason. Applicable statutory deadlines, refund rights and remedies remain available. Any immediate-service request or lawful exception must be separately explained and agreed where required; accepting these terms alone does not waive withdrawal rights.
8. Third-party services
Payment processors, registrars, registries, source repositories, software images, AI models and infrastructure providers may have their own terms, licences and technical requirements. Review the conditions presented for a specific enabled service before ordering or connecting it. A domain quote is not confirmation that registration or transfer succeeded. Third-party terms do not remove mandatory rights you have against Ownserva LTD under applicable law.
9. Privacy, account closure and stored records
The privacy notice describes account, workspace and infrastructure information handled by the platform. Use Account Settings to manage sessions, request an account export or close account access. Account closure pseudonymizes the profile and removes sign-in access; it does not automatically erase all workspace records, payment records, audit history, deployed content or backups. Additional access, correction, restriction, objection and erasure requests can be submitted through the public data-rights form. Retention and international-transfer arrangements require the operator's completed privacy policies.
10. Restrictions, service changes and closure
Access may need to be restricted to address a security incident, unlawful activity, misuse or a legal requirement. Any restriction must be proportionate to the issue and subject to applicable notice, review and consumer-protection requirements. Contact support to question a restriction or request help recovering your data. Before closing a workspace, arrange exports, review domain and subscription obligations and transfer ownership where needed. Material contractual changes require the notice and consent required by law; a website edit does not retroactively change an accepted order.
11. Legal rights and complaints
Nothing in this draft excludes mandatory consumer guarantees, data-protection rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. It does not impose mandatory arbitration, waive collective remedies or require consumers to abandon a forum or protection available under applicable law. Send service complaints to [email protected] with the relevant reference and the outcome you seek. You may also use the competent regulator, court or dispute-resolution mechanism available to you.

Cancel future subscription renewal in Dashboard → Billing. A withdrawal request is separate from stopping future renewal. Submit a withdrawal request; mandatory consumer rights are not waived by this page.
